The Gorse

The central part of our hill ground, The Gorse is comprised of a large section of perennial game crop and a mixed shrub bank bordered by a stream.

Our most open section of hill, oncoming birds can be seen for what seems like forever and flushing points at various elevations provides some of our most diverse shooting.

This open nature of the ground means some birds come down the mountain at you like grouse only to lift and swing at the last moment presenting exceptional line changes. Multiple release points ensure an even spread of sport.
