Brynabon
Our largest driving area and our most northerly drive sees the line on a sloping field facing a band of mature conifers; the driving cover is a very steep bank of scrub and young broadleaf woodland.
The topped conifers and very high flushing point allow the birds to keep height but the deep gun line means they are always on the drop by the time they reach you.
Be warned this is a very long drive, a huge amount of holding cover and the steep bank means sometimes the birds don’t show themselves for half an hour. When they come, they come thick and fast; this can be an extensive drive with a very long shooting period including some of our most challenging shooting.
