An eco renovation of an 1800s gamekeepers cottage, now a charming place for couples or families to immerse themselves in nature.

Deep in the remote 600-acre Edwinsford Estate, in a woodland clearing gazing over the tree-filled Cothi Valley, find a cottage and a cosy Shepherd’s Hut away from the daily hustle and bustle.

The Cothi river is only a few paces away, you can fly fish here, and you’re circled by miles of glorious forest and valley walks.

Stay With US

When we bought the estate in 2018 the cottage was derelict but its potential was obvious.

Since then we have renovated it with great care, creating a stylish place to stay whilst also minimising the carbon footprint of the property.

It's powered by an air source heat pump, water comes from a bore hole, and the place is cosy with underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove. A charging point for electric cars is also provided.
