The Quarry

Situated in the heart of the shoot a steep bank of mixed woodland provides a variety of crossing and driven birds to the guns.

Guns are dotted along the low lying fields surrounding the woodland belt, a quarry situated at the far end of the wood terminates the drive providing testing snap shooting for this end of the line.

We have reinstated a series of splashes and ponds around this drive and as a result the duck shooting here has gone from strength to strength, look out for them circling overhead before the pheasants are dripped out.
